Large Aftershocks Continue to Shake Mare Island
MARE ISLAND, CALIF– Four sizable aftershocks, measured 3.9, 2.7, 2.8 and 3.2 located about 7 miles north of Mare Island, according to the U.S. Geological Survey , struck within 1 hour this morning. Earthquake Damages Historic Mare Island Treasures
Mare Island, California–The Aug 24th 6.0 earthquake toppled and damaged parts of the St. Peter’s Chapel pipe organ on Mare Island.
